Dear WA/BC JCL Sponsors, SCLers et
alii,
It is my pleasure to invite you all to the 2008 WA/BC
JCL Fall Planning Meeting, which will be held Saturday
September 27 at Lakeside Upper School in north Seattle.
The meeting will commence at 10:00 and run until
approximately 1:00. We will discuss the upcoming
convention and take a brief tour of the school campus. A
brief sponsors' meeting will follow the main planning
meeting. Full driving directions to Lakeside Upper
School are given at the end of this message.
As this meeting represents one of the few chances for
our organization to meet en masse, I hope that most of
our chapters will be represented there. This is the best
opportunity to let us know what you would like at next
spring's WA/BC JCL Convention, so we would like to hear
from as many of you as possible! Students are also
encouraged to attend--since they will be the ones most
participating in the convention activities their input
is particularly valuable to us as we plan the weekend's
events.
If you will not be able to attend the meeting but would
like any topic to be discussed, please let me know and I
will add it to the agenda. Also, please let me know by
Wednesday September 24 if you will be at the meeting
(and if so, roughly how many people will be there
representing your chapter)--our hosts need this
information in order to be sure that there are adequate
snacks for all!
Thank you for all of the work you do on behalf of the
JCL, and I look forward to seeing you at the meeting and
working with you all throughout this new academic year.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO LAKESIDE UPPER SCHOOL
1. Lakeside School is southwest of the I-5 and 145th
Street interchange.
2. Exit I-5 at 145th, go west to 1st Ave. NE.
3. Turn south and drive approximately one block to the
main entrance of the school.
4. Guest parking at the upper school is located just
inside the main entrance to the campus, 2nd driveway to
the left heading south from NE 145th St. |
