The legend, the history.. Fort Worden State Park rests on a high bluff overlooking Puget Sound. Many historic buildings remain at this 19th century military fort. With an amazing panorama of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, It is the northern entrance to Puget Sound on Washington's Olympic Peninsula. Over 434 acres are bordered by pristine wetlands and miles of sandy beaches.

Destination: Fort Worden.
Whether you are coming from Seattle, maybe from Olympia, Vancouver or Spokane; getting to Fort Worden, and Port Townsend is easy, and making it an adventure is equally as simple and fun. 

Getting here might mean taking a ferry, getting on a school bus, or just packing into a car, and doing the road trip.  We have linked to various map sites, to give you options toward planning for your arrival at convention.
