Imagine a talent show
that is more then just another talent
show? That’s Entertainment is a talent
show in which JCL delegates compete for
giveaway & cash prizes. During the past
year, many excellent and exciting acts
have appeared on the That’s
Entertainment stage.
The cost of your That’s Entertainment
ticket is included in your Convention
Packet registration. Proceeds will go to
the JCL Scholarship Fund.
Location &
Time
Main Auditorium
Sunday, Time TBA.
Auditions
JCL’ers wishing to perform in That’s
Entertainment must register Saturday
before the first general assembly.
Auditions will be held Saturday (see
program for location and time).
Performers will have a 5-minute limit on
their final performance time. Auditions
are first come first serve. The SCL is
not responsible for overloads, please
come early and be prompt. Auditions are
CLOSED SESSION, there is NO audience for
the session.
Type of
Acts
The talent show highlights talents of
all kinds. These acts could be Comedy,
Musical Talent, Vocal, Athletic, Dance
or Physical talent. "The sky is the
limit". Entrants must provide their own
materials (e.g. music, costumes, props)
and instruments (e.g. Violin, Guitar,
Banjo). A piano may be provided, please
inquire before registering. These acts
are to be appropriate for all ages. It
should contain nothing in theme,
language, violence, etc. that would be
offensive to parents whose younger
children would be attending. Some
snippets of language may go beyond
polite conversation, but they are common
expressions. No stronger words are
present.
